Computer Hardware and Software Requirements

Software Requirements:

•Windows XP Pro (not Windows XP Home Edition), Vista Pro or Windows 7 Pro

•Microsoft Word 2000+.

•Microsoft Outlook 2000+  (MS Exchange Server is optional).

•Internet Explorer.

•Virus checker.

Hardware Requirements:

•PC computer with minimum 2 Gbytes of RAM and a reasonably fast processor.

•Screen size: 17" minimum.

•Connection to a 100 Mb/second Ethernet LAN if connected to a LAN

•Internet via a wifi broadband connection if connected to a WAN. Ensure that the download bandwidth is at least 1 Megabits per second, and preferably 3 Megabits/second.

Windows Configuration Requirements:

•Minimum Screen resolution of 1024x768 is preferred.

•Normal fonts.

•High Color.

•Provide Local Administrator rights to the folder  C:\Program Files\WFI

•Firewall configured to allow Deskflow to connect to an external IP address via port 211.

•Set Windows Explorer Tools > Folder Options to do the following

Alternative requirements in a Lotus Notes 5+ environment:

•Standard MAPI installed on the computer (used by Deskflow email).
