People Activity History tab

Every event, action, document, email etc. is auto-recorded in the Activity History list.

Records are usually automatically added by other procedures but a manual record can be generated from many different Deskflow views. An Activity History record is date-and-time stamped.

 

Activity History

The History tab summarizes Activity History for a Person. Three filters may be used in any combination and the settings saved as a personal favourite.

When Deskflow is first started after a legacy data conversion, the Date Filter may not be set to one year, causing long load times if there are long lists of activity history records to download.

To add an Activity History record, click the Create New Activity History icon, PlusIconB.

To sort the Activity History list, click on a column heading.

To view details of a history record, double-click the selected row or click the Zoom icon. For some Activity History types, a second zoom level is provided.

To Filter Activities by CompletedOn Date, click the Calendar icon and select a date.

To Remove the date filter that shortens the list of Activities, unclick the Use Date Filter option.

To Filter Activities by Activity Type, click the Type drop-down list and choose an option.

To Filter Activities by User Login name, click the Select CompletedBy Users icon, PushpinB.

To Save Current Filter Settings, click the Save current settings for future use on this form icon.

To Setup a System-wide Date Filter on Activity History that will apply to all Deskflow users:

Close Deskflow

Use the Deskflow Administrator utility to setup an Activity History Date Filter.

Re-start Deskflow and open any Person Activity History tab

Uncheck Use Date Filter

Click Save current settings for future use on this form (This clears personalized setting)

Close the People view

Re-open any People view, Activity History tab

The system-wide Date Filter will now be implemented

To Delete the System-wide Date Filter on Activity History that will apply to all Deskflow Users:

Use the Deskflow Administrator utility to access Sys. Settings 2

Delete the date in the field called Activity History Date Filter

Deskflow Users must exit Deskflow and restart Deskflow
