Storing Reports and Documents

All Report templates are stored in the Deskflow Reports Library.

Reports that have been run may be viewed, printed, saved in different formats, or saved in the database.

 

All documents (all formats) are stored as BLOBs in the Deskflow Documents Library in the database, with links to People, Projects and Companies.

 

Automated Full-text indexing of all document text content provides an ability to very quickly search all the documents. All Resumes/CVs (all formats) are stored as BLOBs and listed in the People > Resumes/CVs tab.

 

To Search for Documents and/or Document Content:

1.Display the Deskflow toolbar.

2.From the Deskflow Toolbar, click Documents. The Documents screen appears.

3.Search for documents by Name, File Extension, LastName, FirstName, Company Name, CreatedBy, UpdatedBy, UpdatedOn.

4.Search for documents containing words or phrases.

 

To Search for Resume/CV Content:

1.From the Deskflow Toolbar, click People. Then select People View. The People search screen displays

2.Enter words or phrases (separated by commas) in the third last text box.

3.Select Match All or Match Any

4.Click Search.

5.Click View Resumes to see text content of the Resumes/CVs.
