Templates are Word documents that are used for doing Mass Mail Merge and Mass Email Merge operations in Word or Outlook email
The Template Manager screen contains a list of folders and within each folder Word templates are saved.
Libraries of pre-built Word Mail Merge Templates are archived in hierarchical folders.
Each Template has two parts: 1.A SQL query for extracting data from the database. 2.A Word template in which merge fields can be inserted from a drop down list.
Deskflow can mail merge database content into a template. The resultant MS Word document is archived in the database and is viewable by a User.
Deskflow can also use a People List to initiate a Mass Mail Merge of database content into a document. |
