Word Templates for Mail Merges

Templates are Word documents that are used for doing Mass Mail Merge and Mass Email Merge operations in Word or Outlook email

 

The Template Manager screen contains a list of folders and within each folder Word templates are saved.

 

Libraries of pre-built Word Mail Merge Templates are archived in hierarchical folders.

 

Each Template has two parts:

1.A SQL query for extracting data from the database.

2.A Word template in which merge fields can be inserted from a drop down list.

 

Deskflow can mail merge database content into a template. The resultant MS Word document is archived in the database and is viewable by a User.

 

Deskflow can also use a People List to initiate a Mass Mail Merge of database content into a document.
