Company Attributes tab

Companies Attributes are assigned to a Company from a master dictionary of skills, attributes, aliases and categories. A search feature is provided in Deskflow to search for Companies with selected Attributes.

 

To Add an Attribute to a Company:

1.Click the Company Attributes tab.

2.Click the Add Attribute icon.

3.Select one or more skills.

4.Click OK.

 

Rules for Company Attributes:

The Companies Attributes Editor is only available to Users with permissions granted in the Deskflow Administrator.

Users can assign attributes to a Company without having permission to use the Attributes Editor.

Each Skill description can be 250 characters in length. Do not use forward slash / in the description.

Each Skill can have multiple aliases.

Use the Edit Skills tab to add new skills or edit existing skills. Click Save after every change.

Use the Edit Skills by Category tab to define and edit categories and sub-categories. Click Save after every change.

Assign each Skill to a minimum of one category.

Drag and drop categories to re-organize the folders.

Each Skill can have a defined Unit of Measure, such as years, months, percent, etc.

After changes have been made to a Skills Dictionary, always click Save.

Refresh the workstation's cached copy of the Skills Dictionary by clicking Tools > Refresh Local Data Stores.

The Skills cache in the workstation must be refreshed whenever changes are made to the master copy.
