My Candidates

The My Candidates module tracks, displays and manages candidates that are associated with a User's Projects and Job Orders.

 

The definition of what constitutes a My Candidates association is configured in the Deskflow Administrator utility. These configuration settings apply to all Deskflow Users of a specified database that have been given access to the My Candidates module.

 

A User who is an Owner or Team Member of a Project or Job Order is given ownership of specified candidate lists in the Project or Job Order.  A User does not have exclusive ownership of a candidate, because the candidate could be on many lists.

 

The My Candidates view is useful for tracking the status and processing stages of candidates of interest to each Deskflow User. Filter ensure that each User sees only the Candidates meeting the designated Candidate Ownership conditions referenced above.

 

For example, when applicants apply to job postings on a Deskflow Career Centre, their names can accumulate in the My Candidates view. Actions can be taken to interact and communicate with candidates, record the results of discussions, and move the candidate forward in the pipeline.
