Section Objectives

Add, modify and delete Company records

Understand all information tabs for a Company record

 

Deskflow maintains a database of Companies and all the Current Contacts and Past Contacts (employees) at each Company.

 

Each Company can have multiple business addresses.

Each business address has both a physical address and a mailing address.

Each address can be defined as a Location Type such as Head Office, Branch, Department, Sales Office etc.

Multiple People ("contacts") can be linked to each address, site or location.

People are linked to the Company and optionally linked to a business address.

When events such as emails, documents and activities are recorded for a Person, a link is added to the Company provided that the Person Type is defined as "Contact".
