The Report Manager screen contains a list of folders and reports that are saved within each folder. Libraries of pre-built Report templates are stored in hierarchical folders.
There is also a Graphical Report Design utility for editing existing report templates or creating report templates.
Candidate Reports •This is a list of all report templates available in the Deskflow library. New report templates are distributed to Deskflow Clients as they become available. •Reports are categorized according the primary information in the report: eg Project reports for Projects, People reports for Contacts and Candidates, Job Order reports for Job order related information. •Reports in the Main Menu category must be initiated from the Tools menu, not from the printer icons. These report types have SQL WHERE clauses in the report template. •Reports in the Grid Icon category must only be run from the Blue printer icons associated with grids, because there is an inferred WHERE clause added by Deskflow that is based on the context. These grid icons, with a right-click, can be associated with specified report templates. •Reports that are not in the Grid Icon or Main Menu categories, are run from the Orange printer icon in the right margin of a detail record (eg People view) or in the right margin of a list.
There are two ways that you can access reports in Deskflow: •Click Tools > Reports. This only applies to reports that are not context sensitive and may have a WHERE clause. •Click the Orange Print icon located on the right margin of each view or list. This only applies to context sensitive report templates that do not have a WHERE clause for filtering data.

Access Report Functions Using the Tools Menu Option:
To Print a Report: 1.Select a report template 2.Click Run Report (Preview and Print)
To Save a Report to a hard drive: 1.Click Run Report (Preview and Print) 2.Select Save As. 3.Select the destination location. 4.Name the document. 5.Click Save.
To Save a Report as a Document: 1.Click Run Report (Preview and Print). 2.Select Save Report icon. 3.Name the document. 4.Click OK.
To Access a Report Using the Printer Icon Option: The second way to run reports is to retrieve a Project, Job Order or People view and click Print from the right margin of the screen.
To Print a Report from the Project screen: 1.Search for and retrieve the Project. 2.Click Print located on the right side of the screen. 3.Select the Projects folder. 4.Select the Candidate Development sub-folder. 5.Select the Complete Candidate Register by Stage. 6.Right click. A pop-up list appears. 7.From the pop-up list, choose Run Report.
