Uninstall the Deskflow Client

Deskflow has three parts that have to be separately uninstalled:

Deskflow Client, typically located in C:\Program Files\WFI\Deskflow Client

IFILTERS which must be uninstalled via the Windows Control Panel.

Clear the Windows Registry Settings (see below)

NOTE:  The first two modules appear in Windows Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs.

To Uninstall the Deskflow Client from a workstation:

1.From your desktop, click Start (at the bottom left side of the screen).

2.XP Users: From the pop-up list, click Control Panel then click Add or Remove Programs The Add or Remove Programs dialog box appears. All programs installed on the computer appear in the list. From the Add or Remove Programs dialog box, scroll to or select the Deskflow Client or Deskflow Client (TS) program. The entire row is highlighted and the Remove button appears on the bottom right side of the row.  Click the Remove button. Deskflow will be uninstalled

3.VISTA and Windows Users: A list of programs will be displayed. Highlight the program called Deskflow Enterprise Client then click the header option called Uninstall

WARNING: Removing Deskflow from the Add or Remove Programs dialog box does not always remove all program files. If you re-install Deskflow with remaining files from the previous install, errors will occur. Follow Steps 6 to 10 below to ensure a clean uninstall of Deskflow.

6.From the Windows desktop, click Start (at the bottom left side of the screen). A pop-up list appears.

7.From the pop-up list, click My Computer. The My Computer screen appears.

8.From My Computer, click on or select the following file path:

C:\Program Files\WFI\Deskflow Client

and remove all files and folders within the Deskflow Client folder.

9.Uninstall IFilters from your computer (see below)

10.Clear Windows Registry Settings (see below)

This completes a clean uninstall of the Deskflow Client.
