Job Orders are client or HR Manager requests to fill a permanent or temporary position with the best possible candidate. Deskflow Job Orders modules are used to automate and speed up the business processes required to find and place the best candidate for each position.
Deskflow Enterprise can be used by recruiting agencies and corporate HR Departments.
For recruiting agencies, Job Orders issued by a client are of a contingency nature: the client reserves the right to seek candidates from multiple recruiting agencies, and will only pay contingent on a successful candidate placement. This implies that multiple agencies may compete to find and place the perfect candidate. Only the successful agency gets paid, and there are no retainer fees.
For legal reasons in the USA, Job Orders for permanent positions are no longer called "Permanent Hire" but are called "Direct Hire".
Deskflow Enterprise supports two kinds of Job Orders:
•Direct Hire Job Orders
The business processes supported by Direct Hire Job Orders are similar to but simpler than the Deskflow Projects module, which is typically used by retainer-based executive search firms. A recruiting agency or corporate HR department may use the Projects module in lieu of the Direct Hire Job Orders module.
Deskflow "Direct Hire Job Orders" are used for recruiting candidates for full-time positions. Each Job Order can have multiple similar positions to be filled.
•Contract Job Orders
Contract Job Orders are for Jobs and Positions that have finite start dates, end dates, bill rates and pay rates. The term of a Contract Job Order can be measured in hours, days, weeks, months or years. A Contract Job Order differs from a Direct Hire (Permanent) Job Order in the way that client fees are calculated. Time-sheets for Candidates assigned to Contract Job Orders are tracked in order to determine bill and pay data.
