Company Blocking (Off limits) Options:
1.Company Blocks/Off Limits: A Company is automatically blocked or Off Limits if the marketing status is set to Client. All employees of the Company are then Blocked or Off-Limits unless the Enhanced Blocking Rules are used. All People currently in Primary Positions at the Company are Blocked or Off Limits.
2.Project-related Company Blocks/Off Limits: Client-specific Blocks may be set for a given location of a Client and/or for specific functional roles within the Client. So instead of blocking everyone, everywhere, a Deskflow User can be selective about which Locations and Roles to block within the Client.
Five types of Blocking/Off-Limits can be applied:
•All People at the Client (Primary Position)
Every one at the Client (all address locations and all roles)
•Block by Client Address Location
Every one at every Selected Address Location
•Block by Client (functional) Role
Every one at the Client with every Selected Role
•Block by Client Address Location AND Client Role
Every one at every Selected Address Location with every Selected Role
Project Blocks are automatically removed at completion of a Project.
•Optionally, at the Company Level, unrelated to a Project, one of the same possible 5 types of Blocking/Off Limits can be applied.
•User and Date block was Created and Modified is tracked. There is also an End Date to indicate when the Off Limits Blocking expires.
A Candidate may be Blocked or made Off Limits for any or all of five reasons:
•If a Candidate is employed by a Client (yellow block).
•If a Candidate was placed at a Client (red block).
•If a Candidate is a Client Team Member (red block).
•If a Candidate is at the Internal Interview stage for another Project (yellow block).
•If a Candidate is at the Client Interview stage for another Project (red block).
NOTE: Blocking for Projects uses different blocking logic than for Job Orders. People remain blocked/off limits until the Search is completed, at which time all blocked Candidates are unblocked.
